Canada Trip

The last week of May we went to Canada to play 2 shows.. It took 3 days getting there, and back. Scarlett and I both came up with two new songs. Mine: Love The Way You Lie cover. Scarlett's: Blessings cover.

I just want to say.. I have the best band in the WORLD!!! I sent a version of my song to them maybe 2 weeks before we left, and Derrick and Lisa already had it.-- That's talent.
Our opening act for the first show was Jaydee Bixby. If you have been a long time TN3 fan, you would probably know that around 2007 Jaydee Bixby did a tour with us in Canada--- He was AWESOME! The second show was just us, and we had the best sound guys ever. Do you know how awesome it is to have the option to wander around stage or through the audience with a wireless mic?! That feeling is amazing... it feels powerful.

Hey everyone! Just finished broadcasting the second episode of the Living Room Chat! I can't believe all of the amazing response we've been getting, and can't wait to take this on the road for you. We did have a little trouble with a nasty person in the chat room, but thanks to wonderful technology.. we took care of it :)

Helping Healing Hearts

So, my sister, Scarlett, was playing a 20 minute set at the Helping Healing Hearts organization. There were 6 (including my sister) talented artist there.. I loved every minute of it!
The concert was inside the Factory, in Franklin, Tn... which was beautiful!!!!! I loved it there. I'll have to visit more often :)
I really enjoyed meeting Carolyn Dawn Johnson. She's an AMAZING songwriter, and I loved the fact that she took the time to talk to me, sign my album, and take a photo. She was extremely nice and fun to talk to. I have only listened to a few songs so far, but I am already in love with the latest album, Love Rules.

I figured, since it was such a fun and enchanting night, I would share the pictures with you on here...

Here's what i've been doing so far... First, our very dear friends from Spain came down for 2 days to see us.. Natalie, Jimmy, and their little one, Marlon! We met them on our first trip over to Spain, then we played their wedding, and we've all been FAMILY ever since!!
After that, our new friends have been visiting with us for a week!! I finally got to meet Korli.. who I love!! Scarlett, B, and I have all came to the conclusion that our mothers are the same, fathers are the same, Scarlett and Brinton are the same, and Korli and I are the same.. we're all the perfect combination!

This month has just been crazy... I even started vocal lessons-- what was weird about that, my first lesson was on my birthday! I think I have like, the best vocal coach ever!! Very patient, and acts more like a best friend, than a teacher.

I don't know what to do now.. ever since I've turned 13 (even a week before) everything has changed so fast! Boys starting to, openly, have crushes on me, growing spiritually, vocal lessons, and now I have new friends! I guess I can say year 13 will be a blessed, and interesting year... and I am so glad I get to share it with you on all of my websites!! You are probably the best listeners in the whole entire world! Thank you for all of your support, and to my dear friends: If you're reading this, I love you and can't wait for us to all be together again!

UK Tour

Normally I would do these seperately, but I can't remember what happened at a lot of the shows... So, I'll just blog about the whole tour in one :)

We started off in England... WHICH WAS A BLAST! While we were in England we played the Hemsby Festival which is, for those that don't know, a rockabilly festival. As an American, and lover of music, I love rockabilly music so it was a great, fun experience! While we were in Scotland, we got to play my favorite venue, The Ferry, which is in Glasgow.... The first time we were there, was also the first time I performed my own song. I did the same one this time, "21st Century Rocker!"
Thanks to God and vitamin C's, none of us got sick--- well... Derrick did. But with some prayers and medicine Derrick got better.
The band was amazing this trip, as always. It was sad to have to come back home once the tour ended, but now we can all get some much needed rest. I've only been home 2 days and I'm already waking up at 7:30 (which is not normal) and I'm ready to be back on the road with the Tn3 gang!!!

Thank you to everyone that came out to see us this trip.. you were truly amazing, and we enjoyed playing for you!

Happy October everyone!! We leave Sunday (Oct. 3) for the UK, and we will be there for 2 weeks! I can't wait to see all my friends in England and Scotland!
Also... the day we leave is exactly 1 month til my birthday (hint hint)! So mark it on your calenders :)

Winkler, Manitoba

Heyyyy everyone!! Just got back from the show at the Enns Theater. Let's see... what all happened today??

We arrived in Winkler after leaving Winnipeg (Played Cowboys.. don't remember that day so no blog again,) went to visit our friends Lana and Bill Knelsen, had sound check, got ready for the show, played the show, then went back to Lana and Bill's for a late night snack, then made it safe and sound at the hotel... Perfect right? :)
The show was simply.. amazing! I loved the crowd.. everyone was so amazing! Derrick, Lisa, Scarlett, ect. Their solo's just blew me away.... just as they did the crowd!
The audience was amazing also, (i love the word amazing...) they were soooo much fun to play for! Really enjoyed it.

Thank you to all that came out to the show to see us, you were a great audience! (HA! I didn't use "amazing.")

Lumsden Hotel

Hi everyone!! Just got back from playing at the Lumsden Hotel in, none other than, Lumsden. Some of the best sound ever :) It was sooo much fun!! We even had some friends show up!!!!!!! It was the first time they ever got to hear me sing, so let's hope they liked it :)

This trip hasn't been to exciting to blog about..... but it has been a really great tour! I know I haven't written about like, 2 shows, but I can't remember them :) So.. they don't get a blog!

The Element Club

Hey guys!! Literally just got in from the show and couldn't wait to tell you all about it.
So.. First off, the food (my fav!) It was the best thing I've had on this entire trip!!!! OMG! Soundcheck-- not so great. But, I won't keep on about that.. let's stick to the good stuff ;)

We stayed in this room before the show, that was this extremely pretty color of green. Scarlett, Derrick, and I rode around on this little bicycles-- literally, LITTLE.. still had training wheels on them... So, we had fun :) (Sorry, no video of that.. Forgot my camera :()
I performed Untouchable & Guitars Don't Break Your Heart.. and everyone seemed to like it so I'm one happy kid right now! :D

Even though not that much happened for me to write about, I wasn't going to leave you hanging... OH and they play really good music on the radio there :)

Squamish Festival

Hey guys! So.. the Squamish Festival was... SO AWESOME!!!!!
The main act was DEVO-- so needless to say, Derrick was extremely happy. One band I really enjoyed was the Matthew Good Band.. definitely a favorite!
We stayed until DEVO's last song, and then made it back to the hotel. It was so much fun though! There was even a dude dressed up like Big Foot... just sayin'. :)
So.. I just wanted to write this, and say I really enjoyed everyone's concerts, and I was so honored to be invited there.

Laughlin, Nevada & Clovis, California!

Hey guys!!! So, we'll start with Laughlin :)

We were in Laughlin, Nevada, for about a week total with no days off, and I just want to say.... IT WAS SO TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
I even enjoyed the first 3 nights so much.. that I performed a new song for the rest of the week. Yes, it was my own.. not Taylor's (Not that I don't love her, but I'm the one trying to get a record deal........) I performed "Guitars Don't Break Your Heart" which I wrote like a year ago, and it was the first one I wrote about a really mean girl next door-- That was the inside scoop from me right there haha. We went to the pool pretty much every day... even when the wind was blowing our flip-flops into the pool :) So, to everyone that came out to Laughlin to see us.. Thank you! :)

Clovis, California: So.. we played a church here. Sometimes I felt a little weird about playing "I shot a man just to watch him die" in church, but I had fun :) I got just a little ill during the show, but turns out I just needed some water.. :/ My bad! Haha. I was supposed to play guitar on Scarlett's song which I didn't get to do, so everyone missed out on an awesome song because of me, but the one she did to replace it was just as good! The crowd was awesome though! The little girl that kept sitting on the steps just made me smile even though I wanted to cry from not feeling good, so she was a big help :) Everyone there was so nice to me even though I wasn't that pleasant, so thank you for sticking with sick little me :) You were amazing!

Thanks to everyone again for coming to these shows... You were great... I loved being on stage in front of your smiling, and fun faces! Hope to see you again soon.

Alto, New Mexico

Hey guys!

Yesterday we got in from playing in Alto, at the Spencer Theater. We had the best sound ever! Plus, the crowd was ever greater... so let's just say that was one of the best shows in a while! I played my song, "21st Century Rocker," then I played on Scarlett's latest song,"You Can Prentend." We all had so much fun!

Dakota Sioux Casino

Yes... I am WAY behind on this. But, to be honest.. I haven't had that much internet connection! :)

Anyways. We played in South Dakota, at the Dakota Sioux Casino for those of you who didn't get your letter from the mail... :) I played my brand new Daisy Rock guitar too... felt so great to have a lighter guitar! The sound, the crowd, and the rest of the TN3 were AWESOME!!!! It could not have been better.

Scarlett and I wish we could've played in Iowa, but due to age restrictions... I couldn't go. So, sorry to all of those that missed us :( We really wish we could've been there.

Also, letting you know, those of you at the show in South Dakota, if you were wondering what the orange thing was on my wrist... it was a tag showing the security cameras that I was a minor-- just in case I walked on the casino floor due to not knowing I wasn't supposed to go that way.... :) Oh well! But, everything was great. Barney and Cuddles really enjoyed this trip too-- mostly because they got A LOT of beef haha.

Walter Reed Medical Hospital

Today was a very moving experience for me. We played at Walter Reed Medical Hospital, and then went up into the ward and visited some soldiers that couldn't make the show.
I would just like to say, THANK YOU for allowing us to play for you, and to come visit. All of the troops.. retired or still fighting.. you mean the world to me. To me you are the real heros.. not the comic book characters that end up being nothing, but the real deal. That faces horrors, and 'bad guys' , and hurting so much just to keep the younger generation safe. Most young people aren't very thankful.. I hate that, but believe me when I say I am TRULY thankful for all that you are doing.

Sellersville, PA

Hey guys! We just got back from Sellersville, Pennsylvania, and let's just say... for short usage of words... EVERYTHING was WONDERFUL!

That had to have been the best sound we have had in a long time! Plus the crowd was great!

We had a soldier there, and my dad gave him a guitar... which I thought was pretty cool, but then again, why wouldn't I???
Scarlett did her June tribute, which had an awesome response!!!

We all had such a great time... so I just want to THANK EVERYONE OF YOU who came to the show tonight.. you were amazing!

Let's see.. great crowd?? Check! Bad sound? Check! :l

I won't stay on the last one though... because the fans were awesome, we had a great time, and we also had some friends there. Peter Lewry and his wife Carole were back.. so we all didn't care about the sound......maybe.

We played the Ashcroft Theatre, everyone was pretty nice. It was our last show for a while. Tomorrow we have to be on the plane... eww. Let's just hope we don't miss our flight!!-- I hope I didn't ruin that.....

We played the Stables in Wavendon, England. We all finally had some good sound people here, so thank you, God, for that! We had some fans there that were actually from a show before on this tour, which I found really cool!

Tomorrow happens to be our last show of this tour.. which I'm really dreading. We all have to say goodbye for about 2 weeks.. then we go back on the road. The ending to that is the only happy part, which is why I'll last until then!

Can't wait to come back over in September-October!!!
